The beach is one of the five free public beaches on Lantau Island. There is a net in the water near it to protect it from sharks, and rescuers are on the shore during the day. Due to the relative inaccessibility, there are usually few vacationers here, so the beach is great for people who don’t like crowds. There are also showers, toilets and changing rooms, and you can stay overnight in the homes of local residents.
The beach is 300 m long and 30 m wide
Admission is free, there are no sun beds.
