Hong Kong Disneyland 香港迪士尼樂園
Hong Kong Disneyland guide from Alex iurlov
This huge article is a powerful tool for making your cherished day in Hong Kong perfect!
Without thorough preparation, the day will not go so smoothly.
This article was updated on January 18, 2026.
I’ve been to Hong Kong Disneyland 2 times and got a great experience, which I’m sharing!
The table of contents of the article:

Let’s go!
It is the smallest of the five existing Disneylands in the world, opened on September 12, 2005.
0. Mobile app and web site.
Be sure to download and register in the DisneyLand HK mobile app.
It’s poorly made, buggy, and crumbling. It constantly redirects you to a website where it asks you to log in again.
But you can buy everything you need. Your tickets are also there. There are also fast tracks.
And most importantly, the map of the park shows the waiting time at each attraction, as well as your location.
There is more functionality on the web site. www.hongkongdisneyland.com
1. Hotels
There are 3 hotels in Disney, all of them are located in one place, near the entrance to the park.
Disney Explorers Lodge – More info HERE
Disney’s Hollywood Hotel (the oldest hotel and the most affordable) – More info HERE
Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel (the most expensive hotel) – More info HERE
When buying a room, they offer Disney-style room decorations (balloons, toys). So you can buy all this tinsel in advance for 100 times cheaper on Taobao.
What other options are there? Rent one of the hotels at Hong Kong Airport or near Kowloon West Railway Station (there is a convenient Kowloon subway station)
This way you will save a lot (3-5 times).
2. Tickets
There are never any discounts on tickets.
It doesn’t matter where you buy it – Klook, trip.com , official. a website or somewhere else.
Check price and book here: https://www.trip.com/t/aoEZaPqjmY1
The ticket number can be linked later in the official DisneyLand HK mobile app.
Children under 3 years old are free of charge.
Some attractions require a height of 112 cm, i.e. it is better to go there with children from the age of 5.
One-time pass 669 HKD
Two-day + 100 hkd to the price (I recommend it! It is impossible to visit even half of them in one day. I was able to visit 20 places (ALL shows and ALL closed attractions, but normal people are incapable of this. At the same time, I did not visit any of the outdoor attractions).
Two-day (but on different days) 1132 HKD
Annual subscriptions
Magic Access Silver 1568 HKD Is exactly what I have. I’ve been visiting Disney for 1 year, almost all weekdays.
Magic Access Gold 2748 HKD Visiting Disney for 1 year, on almost all days except holidays.
Magic Access Platinum 4998 HKD Visiting Disney 1 year, all days.
You can upgrade a one-time pass to Magic Access Silver for 803 HKD, which I did.
I plan to visit Disney 8 times in 1 year. As a result, I will receive each visit in 196 HKD.
3. Fast tracks
Early Park Entry Pass the entrance to the park is 1 hour before the opening. I don’t recommend it. Everything is closed there, and nothing is working. Only if you take pictures without crowds.
Yes, crowds, thousands of people are provided even on weekdays! Like in the subway during rush hour and worse. I’m generally silent about weekends and holidays.
Priority Access for 8 attractions 429 HKD. At the same time, just ride 1 time without waiting in line! This is not a panacea, they paid and forgot. Explanation below.
Priority Access for 3 attractions to choose from is 199 HKD.
For most attractions (or shows), you need to buy a separate Priority Access, in addition to Priority Access for 3 or 8 attractions!!!!
If it’s a holiday or a day off, you don’t have a choice, you’ll have to buy them. And even the queue will be from Priority Access!!!!
Without fast tracks, you have to wait in a general queue for 30-160 minutes at each attraction.
If you are ready for this, buy a folding mini high chair (although they are prohibited in the park).
4. How to get here
Disney’s location is inconvenient. 50 minutes from the airport or 40-50 minutes from the center of Hong Kong.
The easiest way is not to worry and take an Uber taxi.
But there are different situations, sometimes it is more convenient to take the bus or subway.
It is convenient to get from the center by metro with a transfer to Sunny Bay.
I was traveling from Macau, and I got to the border.I crossed the HZMB port (near the airport) and immediately boarded the B5 bus. The journey takes 40 minutes.
There are other special routes, as shown in the photo below.:

(I can send a photo in the best quality to my personal account)
5. park entrance
It’s not enough to buy a ticket, you need to book the date in advance in the app! Absolutely!
Get ready for a long queue at the entrance. There is a queue for checking bags for at least 15 minutes (you can carry food and water, but it is better to hide it at the bottom of the bag).
Then there’s another queue to check tickets. Be sure to bring your passports with you!!!!
There is a luggage storage after entering the park.
If the visit is not in summer, then I highly recommend taking warm clothes with you to put on in the evening! In summer, a sunscreen spray and a cap are mandatory.

(an insanely long queue on Wednesday at 11:00)
6. Show programms
Disney’s Friends live party. It takes place on the stage in front of the castle. It’s weak enough, without a light. You can safely skip it!

.
Moana. You must go! It takes 20 minutes. You need to arrive 20 minutes in advance to take your seats!!!

.
Parade along the central street. I was very surprised. To be honest, it’s a weak parade compared to other amusement parks. If with children, watch, if not, skip.
You’ll see everything in 5 minutes!

.
Mickey and Wondrous book. You must go! It takes 30 minutes. You need to arrive 30 minutes in advance to take your seats!!! Even with a fast track, you have to come early. There will already be 100 people standing in front of you!!!

.
Festival of the Lion King. Ambiguous. If with children, watch, if not, skip. It takes 20 minutes. You need to arrive 30 minutes in advance to take your seats!!! Even with a fast track, you have to come early.

.
Playhouse in the Woods. This show has no start times, it runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. I strongly advise against it! Very weak!

7. Analysis of all attractions
The territory of Disneyland is divided into four thematic parts:
Main Street USA
Main Street USAIt is made in the architectural style of the times of the Wild West. Here you can see vintage cars, delicate signage and beautiful villas with shops and restaurants inside.
Adventureland
In Adventureland, there is a river around the huge tree where Tarzan lives, along which you can take a small cruise. During the journey, you will encounter huge behemoths, geysers, and maze caves.
Fantasyland
Your favorite cartoon characters are walking in a Fantasy world. There is also a 3D cinema where you can watch three-dimensional films with special glasses.
Tomorrowland
There is a roller coaster in the World of the future.
Big grizzly. It’s the best thing in the park. But the coolest sensations are only for the 1st time! Then you already know the trick of these roller coasters and only the reaction of other people is enjoyable)

.
Jungle river cruise. A 10-minute boat ride with jokes and jokes. Get in the right line. There is a queue with an English-speaking guide (to the left).
It’s worth a visit, but don’t expect much. There are plastic animals on the river. But the jokes are good. That’s the only thing that got me out!

.
Mystic Manor. It probably depends on expectations and the time spent queuing) I waited 45 minutes and what I saw was not impressive. Conclusion – if the queue is small (and that’s a lie), then it’s worth a visit! It’s a house with unusual things. In general, nothing like that. It’s better to spend time on something else, not a priority.

.
Hyperspace. Roller coaster in the dark. One more time and without waiting in line.
Ant man and the wasp. Definitely go! It’s simple, but they’ll give you laser pistols and you’ll shoot. Not bad!
Iron man Experience. Well, this is a 10-minute 3D movie. I wouldn’t say it’s worth paying attention to. One more time and without waiting in line.
.
Wandering Oakens siding. It’s a good roller coaster, but it’s a bitter disappointment that the track is very short. If there are 3 times in a row without a queue, you can!!!
Its a small World. A lazy river on the water. Only for smaller children! Adults don’t give a shit.
Frozen even After. A lazy river on the water. It’s cool, even adults will come in!
.
Mickey’s Philhar magic. Definitely go! Excellent 3D cinema in the cinema hall for 10 minutes.
Everyone is thrilled!
.
Vinnie Pooh. Only for children! Adults don’t give a shit.
There are also a bunch of classic attractions in the Toy story area.
There was no time for them.

8. Restaurants
You should have lunch strictly in queues, with the sandwiches and water that you brought.
You can already have dinner in one of the restaurants (but also quickly, 10-15 minutes).
Explorer’s club restaurant. Semi-buffet dinner is the most decent choice of all. But also the most expensive: 508 HKD for adults, 348 for children. There is a clear boarding time, which is inconvenient.
A McDonald’s-type Starliner Dinner. Portion 145 HKD. But you won’t get enough, even if you’re thin) Small portions.
Golden Crocus Inn. Portions from 198 HKD. But you won’t get enough, even if you’re thin) Small portions.
Corner Cafe on the central street. Set 278HKD. Big enough for two people.
Royal Banquet hall. This is essentially a food court. Prices from 160 HKD. I got a pizza for 150, it was just enough for me.
There’s also Japanese ramen and other dishes.

9. The shops
Disney has a huge number of stores. And they all have different thematic content!
I advise you to keep shopping time to a minimum, otherwise you won’t have time to see anything at all!
10. The Disney passport
You can buy a Disney passport and then look everywhere for special booths to make stamps.
A waste of time. There is also a queue at the booths.
Buy a passport, but don’t worry about stamps. One can be done, but not all 100500.
On my second visit, I bought a passport and stamped all the stamps. Then they gave me a medal at the end!

11. Evening fireworks at 20:30, sometimes at 21:30 (you need to look at the schedule of the day)
Laser show + drones + weak fireworks.
They call it the grandest party. Very, very weak.

More than 3-5 thousand people gather on the central street.
There is only one conclusion to be drawn here – you need to get out of the park BEFORE the crowd goes to the exit.
Which I did at 20:40
If you have a hotel in Disney, you can hang out together. And there’s nothing else to do – after 20:30 everything is closed for a putter.
The second time I visited the park, I ordered an Uber taxi 1 hour before leaving the park – it was a golden decision!!!!
In conclusion, I will show you the program that I implemented on November 26, 2025.:
12:00 Disney friends live party
12:30-12:50 Moana
12:45-13:05 Parade
