Hong Kong metro

The metro in Hong Kong MTR Hongkong is quite expensive, but very convenient!
Payment is made with an Octopus card.
There are “1st class” cars (more expensive)

The Hong Kong Subway line network consists of 11 lines. The service is provided by MTR Corporation. The first section of the Kunthon line was opened in 1975. And in 1980, the subway line passed under the sea and reached Hong Kong Island. Currently, there are 116 stations operating in the city.

Be careful – it’s very cold in the subway, take warm clothes, a jacket or a scarf with you, even if it’s +30 outside.
