Hong Kong International Airport. Only when you arrive in Hong Kong!
Terminal 1 (north and south halls for arriving passengers)
Arrival North Hall daily, 10:00 – 18:00
Arrival South Hall daily, 7:30 – 23:00

Enrolment Office at Macau Ferry Terminal Only when you come by boat from Macau to Hong Kong!

To register an E-channel in Hong Kong, you must:
– availability of the APEC Business Travel Card
– or the availability of an HKSAR Travel Pass
– or the presence of a frequent flyer card of one of the airlines
– or more than 3 arrivals at Hong Kong Airport in the last 12 months (issued for the 4th arrival)
Unlike the Chinese E-channel, where information is recorded on a chip in the passport, the Hong Kong Echo Channel is designed simply as a passport sticker! The passport can be any.
Update 2019: now the Hong Kong E-channel is also recorded on a chip in the passport, they don’t give you a sticker!
Update 2020: They write the chip into the passport and give it a sticker.
