The beach is located in the southeast of the New Territories of Hong Kong in Sai Kung District. This beach, like forty others, is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. The infrastructure is well developed here: there is a parking lot, a barbecue area, sports equipment, showers, toilets, as well as a kiosk with soft drinks and snacks. In summer, lifeguards are on duty at the beach and a first aid station is deployed. There is a shark net about 150 meters from the shore. Attacks by these predators on humans were observed on the beach in 1991 and 1993. According to official data, the water quality here is acceptable.
