Hongkong Railway museum
The Hong Kong Railway Museum was opened in 1985 in the building of the former Tai Po Market railway station in Tai Po district.
It is a division of the Hong Kong Museum of Cultural Heritage, managed by the Ministry of Leisure and Culture of Hong Kong.
It is an open-air museum covering about 6,500 square meters.
The station building, built in 1913, has a pitched roof of a traditional Chinese building.
It was declared a monument in 1984, renovated and opened as a museum in 1985.

Admission is free
