Deep Water Bay beach “sam1 seui2” is sparsely populated, but the roadway is very close
to it. This is another popular holiday destination on Hong Kong Island.
The beach is very long and narrow, covered with fine light natural sand. According to Hong Kong research, the water near the beach is clean. The infrastructure is relatively well developed – there are toilets, showers, changing rooms, a barbecue area, and paid parking nearby. The beach is protected from the ocean by an anti-shark net. It is also notable for being located in close proximity to the famous Hong Kong Ocean Park.

Option 1
Metro Blue line to Causeway Bay Station (exit F1), then take minibus 40 at the Causeway Bay Jardine’s Bazaar stop and drive to the Deep Water Bay Beach stop

From the bus terminal at Central Station by bus 6X to the Deep Water Bay Beach stop
Travel time is 30-40 minutes.

Minibuses 40, 40X and 52 to the stop “Deep Water Bay Beach” (深水灣泳灘)
Buses 6A, 6X, 65, 73, 260 and 973 to the stop «Deep Water Bay; Island Rd» (深水灣; 香島道)
