This is the 16th time I’ve been to Hong Kong. I haven’t been there in 3 years!
On April 6, 2023, I got up at 7 a.m. at 7:30 a.m. I was at Guangzhou South Station. At 8 a.m. I took the train to West Kowloon railway station and was already in Hong Kong at 9.10! Just like that, it’s only 1.5 hours and we’re already in Hong Kong! This time I bought a train ticket in the 12306 application and finally confirmed my passport at the ticket office – I no longer need to stand at the ticket office to buy a train ticket in China.
It took me 10 minutes to get from West Kowloon to Kowloon metro station, one stop and I’m on Central. I had 4 Octopus cards with me, so I had to reactivate them because I hadn’t used them for 3 years.
I went to the Maritime Museum, entrance 30 HKD.

I walked around it for 30 minutes, and there were zero people. There will be a better maritime museum in Macau. And the most impressive one is in Dongguan City.
Then he took the boat to the other side of the bay. I wanted to change the currency, but the commission was extortionate! I eventually changed it later from the Apple Store to IFC one. Vietnamese dong in HKD.

I left Hong Kong early enough. I bought a ticket in advance in the 12306 application for 5.00 pm in Guangzhou.

I really liked this new train from Guangzhou South railway st to West Kowloon railway station. However, the tickets are expensive 450 yuan round trip in economy.
It’s only 2 hours from the home sofa to the center of Hong Kong!
On April 11, 2023, I will go to get myself a new residence permit in China, for the next 2 years, I will write an article.
