

Hoi Mei Wan beach Hong Kong 海美灣泳灘 (hoi2 mei5 waan1 wing6 taan1)
The beach is one of eight in Tsuen Wan District in the New Territories. Its name translates as “beautiful sea”. The beach is medium-sized for Hong Kong, and is covered with natural golden sand. The beach is suitable for swimming – it is protected from the sea by an anti-shark net, and rescuers are on duty on the shore during the day. The beach is equipped as standard – it has showers, toilets, changing rooms and a barbecue area.
The beach belongs to the second class, which means that the water is suitable for swimming, but not ideal.

Buses 53, 234B to the bus stop «Hoi Mei Beach» (海美灣)
The beach is about 20 meters from the bus stops.
The nearest subway station is Tsuen Wan West Station, 6 km to the east. From there, you can take a taxi to the beach or walk along Hoi On Street to the north, then turn left and walk along Castle Peak Road to the beach.
