The beach is located on Hong Kong Island on the east coast of Stanley Bay. The beach is well maintained – there are lifeguards on it during the daytime, and an anti-shark net is installed throughout the bathing season. The infrastructure is standard – there is an access road, a bus stop, a kiosk with soft drinks, changing rooms, toilets, showers and a barbecue area. The water off the shore of this beach is one of the cleanest in all of Hong Kong.
This place is also notable for the fact that Stanley Prison is just a few hundred meters away.
The beach is 150 m long and 20 m wide.

How to get there?
Bus 6, 6A, 6X, 66 or 260 from Exchange Square bus terminal (near MTR Hong Kong Station, Exit D.)
or by bus No. 973 from Tsim Sha Tsui Subway
Station or
At the Admiralty metro station, before exiting Queensway road, take bus 6, 6X, 6A, 66, 260 from the South side of the street and get to the Stanley Bus Terminus bus station, which is a 5-minute walk to the sea.
Travel time by bus is 1 hour.
