



Cheung Sha Beach Hong Kong Lantau 長沙泳灘
It is the longest beach in Hong Kong. The coastline is simply huge, ideal for walking, swimming and excellent sunbathing. Light, fine sand.
The beaches are located in a rather secluded location in the southeast of Lantau Island. It is covered with fine light, almost white, sand. There are lifeguards on the beach during daylight hours; there is a barbecue area, as well as showers, toilets and changing rooms. The water off the coast, according to analyses, is one of the cleanest in all of Hong Kong.

How to get there?
Option 1
A steamer departs from Central for Mui Wo.
From the Mui Wo Ferry Pier, take bus number 1,2,4,A35.
Option 2 taxi 100 HKD
Option 3
You need to get to the terminal station of the yellow line of the Tung Chung subway (exit D), where you can take bus No. 11 at the Fu Tung Shopping Center; Tat Tung Road stop. Get off at the Cheung Sha Ha Tsuen bus stop and you’re on the beach. The total journey time is about 1.5 hours.
